    Hi All,

    I've just got back from Kinlochleven, I took my girlfriend ice climbing for
    the first time at the Ice Factor. She absolutely loved it, so I thought I'd
    show her how good it is outdoors - climbing that is. I'm off work on
    Wednesday, so I'd really like to get up to the lakes and try one or two
    grade 1 climbs with her.
    Has anybody here been up around Esk pike this weekend? If so, what were the
    conditions like? Any snow, ice etc?

    Failing Esk, does anybody know of any grade 1-2's that are in condition
    around the lake district?
