PROBLEM=New R600 with GIPIEMME T-TRE 30S...
cannot get any of my 'modern' pumps to clamp/attach to the inner tube valve and therefore have no real idea of the tyre pressure i am running.
The large size rims are causing the problem as not enough of the valve is protuding from the rim.
Any obvious thing i am missing...like innertubes with extra long valve stems?
ho hum
Any help would be good

They also make valve extenders for deeper rims. If you don't feel like switching tubes, you can keep one with your pump and use it as an adapter. http://www.hedcycling.com/cart/accessories.htm They're towards the bottom.
