Small, friendly campsite in the New Forest

look for the red shoot pub, linwood

small campsite right next to the pub & good food

never used the site, but often used the pub and the campers seem very happy
with it

I stayed there a while ago. Nice pub and a nice site.

I have also camped at the FC backpacker's site attached to the caravan
site at Setthorns - this is a field with toilet facilites, the caravan
site itself has no toilet facilities.

I sneakily parked my car in a lane on the outskirts of Sway and walked
in. My overnight stay ended up being free too because there was a
massive queue of caravaners booking in in the morning.

I've also used the site at Holland's Wood

where you have a bit of a walk to the pubs in Brockenhurst. It sounds
huge with 600 pitches but it is in woodland so feels smaller.
