I recently acquired a used set of rollers. I love them, but I do notice that when I pick up the rpm's, the front drum slows down tremendously, making it difficult (more difficult rather) to stay upright.
Since there's only two contact points, the belt to the drum being the first,a nd the tire to the drum being the second, I'd have to side with the belt/drum contact point as causing the problem. Maybe I need to add more tension to the belt by moving thr drum forward (thus changing the position of the tire on the drum (what is the optimal position anyhow)), maybe get a new belt?
What brand of rollers? Sounds like the belt is slipping badly. Definitely can see where that would cause a big problem. You might need a new belt. Also, I've always heard that your front tire should be pretty much on top, but just baaaarely behind center of the drum, of the front roller.
