  1. Hi,

I remember reading from Jow Weider way back when that you should not
take sleeping pills if you lift weights.
I'm not sure why he said this. Does anyone take sleeping pills at
night? Does it hinder your progress? I sometimes take 10mg of Ambien at
    night.

    Thanks for any opinions.

I'd hate to fall asleep with 250# hovering over my head.

10 Ambien isn't enough, you need to take 20.

Weider has said all sorts of crazy things; it is unlikely that *all*
    of them are wrong.

One of the advantages of regular exercise, at least for me, is that I
don't find it difficult to go to sleep at night. However, it is
better to take Ambien and get the sleep you need than to not get the
sleep you need. Ambien _might_ hinder your progress, lack of sleep
    will _definitely_ hinder your progress.

The best thing to do is to simply run the experiment for yourself.
Lift weights and see if you still need the Ambien to sleep.
