How are you replying? If you reply to the group there should be no problem. If you reply to the
individual then you will find that many people have their e-mail address mungeds in a vain and
largely futile attempt to reduce the flood of offers for longer willies, dirty postcards, medication
or cheap mortgages.

The simple answer is to post replies to the group.

Do you mean replies directly to the sender or to the group?

If you mean email to the sender then bear in mind that many people use deliberately spamblocked
email addresses for posting to Usenet. Some can be reconstructed by hand to give valid addresses,
some can't.

However, it is generally better to reply to the group unless you have a specific reason for
contacting the individual solely. That way everyone gets to see your reply which can be helpful.
That's what Usenet is about.

Are you replying directly to the poster rather than to the group? Many posters on the group use a
spoofed e-mail address on purpose to avoid spam.

Unless sending a personal message, please post replies to the group. That way, you get to share your
knowledge and possibly save others time in writing the same information, and the original poster
gets any errors corrected by others.
