  1. Hi,

I created an easy-to-use site where you can plan your bicycle routes on Google Maps:

    bikeroll.netbikeroll.net

The goal was to make it lightweight, simple, and fast. Features you may like: free (no registration either), altitude profile, GPX track, weather forecast.
Let me know what you think about it, where I can improve it.

    Many thanks,
    Botond

  2. Seems useful. I generally use Google maps on my phone and I noticed bikeroll excluded greenways and bike paths in exchange for street only routes.

  3. Thank you for your feedback. Generally, there are three kind of routes, MTB (basically the same as walking), Road bike (same as with a car) and Google bike layer. The routes are generated using the Google maps algorithm, so I have not much control on that.
Maybe I can take a close look of you send me an example.

  4. Does the system provide written directions? I didn't see them?

  5. There are printable directions in the menu (left upper corned) Download printable summary.
