IMO yes.🙂 I think the BC800 was available with the RDS wireless receiver from some retailers.

The question is: "Why isn't the BC1600 working?" If the problem is in the computer head, the BC1200 will work. If the problem is somewhere in the pickup or sending unit, it won't. I don't understand why you haven't just tried it to see for yourself. Have you tried new batteries?

retr0 - thnaks for your quick response. I did try it and it didn't work. Howver I now have it working. I open up the rds unit on the handle bar mount and jingled the whatever and it is now working. howver, i notice that the max. speed would not go over 39mph even though someone riding next to me was going at the same speed and his computer was reading 43mph. any ideas. and yes I know i was going faster because i got up to 39mph on a smaller hill.

I've had loads of Sigma computers over the years and they all work with whatever mount you put them on - if it fits it'll work. Two things: as the mounts wear, sometimes you have to jiggles the computer a bit to get it to seat properly on the two )or four if it's got a cadence sensor) pickups on the mount. Second, those wireless units EAT batteries, and as soon as the power drops, they just don't work reliably. They're also prone to developing intermittent faults even when the batteries are fine. They're heavy too. In the end I gave up on both my wireless units and worked out how to mount the wired ones in a nice, neat way – no problems since. Since then I've moved on to a Polar CS200... :-)
