I have a sigma 1400 that recently stopped reading the cadence function. I bought a new kit, thinking it was a bad wire or sensor, but that laos has not worked. Anyone else had a similar problem with a sigma, or know of anything i can try to get this to work? Thanks!

Have had this trouble with other units and sometimes the contacts on the unit have get dirty , here in this part of Spain the dust contains a lot of mica and this , being a natural insulator, leads to loads of problems anywhere dust can enter .

Yeah, I tried cleaning the contacts (they were a bit dirty), but that did not help. I also tried squeezing the CPU unit, to come closer to the contacts, also to no avail.
