  1. Help, I can't figure out my SID 2003 fork.

I've read the manual, web site and various posts, but I cant figure out
how much air to put in the various chambers of my fork.

My old 2002 SID was easier as I only had two chambers to fill (left and
right) but Can anyone advise me to how many I have now... Is it 3 or 4?

Two one top and one on the drive side leg?

I can't quite get my head around it or how much pressure on each.

I weigh 145 pounds which I think is about 10 stone or circa 70kg. I tend
to like my forks firmer as I spend a lot of time on the road.

Whenever I put air into the bottom chamber (I think its the positive
air?) my fork bottoms out after an inch or less.

I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help a poor soul and
describe how much air to put where using simple terms?

    cheers in advance!

If you don't get an answer here, try either alt.mountain-bike or the web
forums at angryasian.com (the titular Angry Asian is a bike mechanic
with a lot of suspension knowledge).
