Someone else posted about the fact that Bettini won flying alone in the
Camaiore GP.
But noone until now has reported about the main point of interest of the
race (No, I am not talking about Rumsas comeback): the second part of the
Cunego VS Simoni shootout.
When Bettini broke away on the last climb, the only two riders that were a
few seconds behind him on the top of the hill were the Saeco leaders.
The amazing thing was that none of them wanted to pull for the other, they
didn't find any agreement, just like riders of competing teams that really
dislike each other.
I didn't catch what they said, but I bet that a few nasty words were spent
between them before they got caught back by the main peloton.
They can't go on this way. Martinelli should fire one of them (and I have a
slight idea about whom).
