  1. As lame a question as this one is, I'll ask it anyway: Has anyone used a cycling shoe that was one size too big for their feet? What were the problems/drawbacks with the shoe? I've been using an old pair of hand-me-down shoes that my brother gave me, but they're actually one size bigger than my foot size. Although I've never slipped out of them, I'm wondering if I'm generating enough power through my pedal stroke with such a shoe size. Any thoughts?

  2. I've had some, and it was frustrating not having the same firmness when pulling up and back.

I ended up wearing three pairs of socks and putting in another insole, but it was still a bit annoying.
