Shoe SHims?

I have been doing gym spinning classes this winter and use some Shimano spinning shoes. Is there a way to shim that shoes too?

If you are using cleats with the spinning shoes on an SPD-type pedal, than yes, you can shim the cleats. If you are just using the shoes with clips/straps, then the one option would be an orthotic with a lift built into it. Of course that would require the shoe having enough volume to accomodate the orthotic. Another option would be to have the shoe sole modified to make it taller. Some shoe repair shops are equipped to strip the sole off of the shoe and rebuild it with a lift integral to the shoe sole as a method of addressing leg length discrepancies. I have seen this done for running shoes and street shoes and imagine that it could be done for cycling shoes.
