I'm relatively new to running long distances. I supinate (outside heel worn down considerably more).
I have been struggling with ITBS, and have taken off the last few weeks. I plan to start running
again (training for marathon in January) next week. I currently have NB 1022's. I am considering
getting new shoes. Any recommendations? I will probably go to running store, but would like to get
thoughts on shoes first.

Asics. They seem to be like two opposites. -

Heel wear means nothing. Do you run with your toes pointing out, in or straight ahead? Here is a

If you really are a supinator (which is doubtful) then you need to stay with a neutral shoe. that is
one that has NO corrective posting in it.the ITBS is probably caused by on of two things; either you are just very tight and need to stretch
more, or you are running in shoes with badly worn off heels. That is the one shoe wear issue that
can cause ITBS.If you want to talk more write me directly at
