Are you sure it is the cleat? Is this happening on BOTH sides?

If NOT on both sides, then change the one cleat for the other & see if the noise moves, accordingly.

If it does, then TRY THIS:

• go to an automotive store (or, "Wally World"😉 & get a tube of some silicone gasket maker ... put a THIN layer on the cleat ... let dry ... re-attach.
  

Of course, you could also re-attach the cleat when the "gasket maker" is "wet" if you want ... it is NON-adhesive (i.e., you should be able to peel it off without too much effort).

My Look cleats creaked and so did a number of other riders I know that have them. I ended up switching to shimano.

Are you sure that your shoe isn't just rubbing on the crank? This happens to lots of people. I am happy with speedplay pedals/cleats, because they are really easy to get in and out of, plus they can swivel around plently.

My shoes make a few sounds all by themselves.
