  1. I just bought a pair of ever so slightly used Shimano Ultegra pedals and cleats, but am having a heck of a time figuring out how to get the cleats all attached to my shoes. There are just so many parts that I'm not used to because I used to ride SPD cleats and those were simple to install. So there's that rubber part for walking, another small silver piece (no idea where that goes), an oval shaped "cleat" portion that I know goes into the pedal, and two screws and washers. How that all fits together, I don't know, but if anyone knows where I can find those instructions online or something, that would be great to know.
    Thanks a lot!

I think this is what your after.

  3. Yeah, actually that was the one that I found on Shimano's web site, but my cleats look different than those. They're three pieces + the screws. I dunno. I mean, I got them on and can clip in and out, but just don't know if it's the way it's supposed to be. Are we allowed to post pictures with our messages? Maybe I'll do that to better explain which ones I have.
    Thanks!

Sounds like you have the SPD-R type cleat. Try this link to see if it helps:

    http://www.shimano.com.au/publish/content/australia/en/cycling/customer_support/service_diagrams/pedals_service_diagrams.MainContentPar.0010.Schematic.0008.File.tmp/pd_6600_ev.pdf

or look at the http://www.shimano.com.au/ site for other docs.

The Aussie site seems to have a lot better documentation than the US site for some bizarro reason

  5. That's it! Definitely the SPD-R cleat. I can't believe how hard it is to find info on that.
    Thanks a lot!
