  1. I have an older schwinn letour bike 1987 that came equipped with Shimano SIS derailers that say
Light Action on them. The rear was indexing 6sp and I found it would index 7spd. Would this rear
derailleur index 9spd with Shimano Dura Ace Bar end shift levers? I have found it will cover the
distance across all cogs. Using with 12-25 105 cassette and sugino 52-38 rings on ultegra hubs. SRAm
    9spd chain.

    Any Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Stephen Simon

That was an early-generation S.I.S. derailer, but the indexing is the same as all Shimano rear
    derailers except for pre-1997 (pre-9-speed) Dura-Ace.

The derailer doesn't care how many sprockets, this will index with any Shimano cassette and the
    corresponding shifter.
