  1. Hello everyone!

New to the forums, but I bring gifts...Well questions about a good cycling computer I just bought, and need some help!

I started cycling in 2009 cross training between road racing and cyclecross. I partook in many races in WA/OR from 09/2010. However injury to my wrist in the winter training season led to a two year break from cycling. A shattered wrist and multi fractures throughout my for-arm led to a pretty long rehab period to allow for use of my hand and to regain %40 grip strength.

I recently bought myself a cheaper starter bike again, cause I wanted to get my body adjusted again. It's a Cannondale CAAD9 with a complete 105 set (I did a tri and wanted more range). So to help improve my training because I'm personally terrible at maintaining a pace I went searching around (Japanese) sport stores. I found the Shimano Cyclink computer with full range of meters, heart beat sensors, power meta, ect. And it comes with software showing your training, heart rate and lets you map your strengths and weaknesses.

Sad this is though, it's ONLY in Japanese, and I cannot for the love of me figure out how to even login to the software let alone use it..lol! So my initial question is, does anyone use this computer and have a english version of the software? Or know if other Shimano software are compatible?

Thanks for all your help. I look forward to more positive discussions about training, and races!

I did, but they never imported it to the US or EU market. I was seeing if anyone else had attempted it. Apparently the next best thing was the flgiht deck 9700 or something. Which has half the functions and ability. Sad day, but I suppose I"ll just have someone make me cheat sheets..lol!

  5. what is your mother tongue ?
