I don't think so. But in many of the most relevant cases there are
alternate cable mounting tricks at the RD you can use to tweak the
cable/derailer movement ratios to make things work perfectly.

Exactly. Further, if the OP is talking about Shimano STI levers,
forgetaboutit! Its nearly impossible to take one apart and put it
back together.

Alternatively, if tweaking the cable routing doesn't work, i.e.,
hubbub solution, there is always the jtek shiftmate gizmos that appear
to work well:

Alot simplier and probably cheaper than trying to "machine custom
click-stop plates ."

Modolo made/makes shifters that will work with shimano and campy 7/8/9
speed systems.
