  1. Hi all

I want to change my chainrings but am having compatibility problems. I have the old Shimano 600 chainset and my chainrings are 53/42. Can anyone out there tell me what I can use? Currently my chainrings are Stronglight but my bikeshop tells me that compatible chainrings are no longer available.

    I am in UK.

    Thanks
    Kev

That's just nose picker nonsense. Your BCD is most likely 130. Chainrings are available everywhere, from generic to pinned and ramped for the big one if you have STI shifting. Chainrings don't really have 'speed' either. check with www.peterwhitecycles.com or www.harriscycelry.com
