  1. Hi there !

I've bought a groupage from shimano 105 from a guy on the internet.

When I wnet home I took a closer look to the parts and I found this brake.... ' img.2dehands.be85078150 shimano 105.jpg

    I think it isn't a brake of a 105 group...

    Can somebody help me ?

    Cheers !

  2. Looks like a tektro brake to me. I have similar looking brakes mated with my Tiagra group.

  3. It probably is a Tektro. A lot of bike manufacturers have been substituting them for the group brakes in "single group" builds. Saves them a little money. Your seller probably removed them from a bike with the rest of the grouop and thought that they were Shimanos. You might want to check your crankset and see if it is a FSA or Truvative. This is another area where they save money.
