Hey all,
I have an older 5spd cassette with a double chain ring. I was wonder if they make the a shifter brake lever for a 5 spd (were the brake and shifting lever are all on the same handle)?

I think you're outa luck. The component manufacturers want you to have to upgrade so they can sell you more stuff. I think the STI/Ergo levers started during the 8-speed era.

Well actually it was 7 speed. And it's possible that 7 speed units would work depending on his cog spacing.A index capable RD would also be required. An old 5 speed is probably not worth the cost and effort, not to mention all the other possible compatibility issues.
