  1. Hi to all,

Does anyone know what type/brand of hub I need to use my old CAmpagnolo Shamal road wheel (tubulars) on the track (including the flat spokes if possible)? The front wheel has 16, the rear one 18 spokes. As the spokes are flat, the holes need to be "oval" as well to get the spoke through the hole.
I once saw some Miche hubs with 16/18 holes, anyone knowes? Or can I use normal (+32 holes) hubs and only use 16 of the holes?

    Thanx,

  2. You can use standard hubs with more holes and just skip every second hole if u want to. i have seen it done successfully on a mate's bike. Miche make hubs in these drillings as far as i know though you will have to get them slotted for the blade spokes. Your best bet may be to have a look at some of the American after market hubs. Although they are usually expensive they always roll well and more often than not have custom spoke drillings (ie. # of holes and slotted for blade spokes). The only thing you will have to find out about (if you are keeping the same bladed spokes) is the "PCD" of the hub drillings. Good Luck!
