  1. This is written more in tantric and kundalini yoga
terms and I don't know enough yet to translate it
in to qigong or reiki terms, but some on alt.meditation.qigong
recently advised me to check for energy rushes after
my "throat chakra hot spot" post, so I figured I would
ask about this here, but have also asked on alt.yoga .
(And the upper breastbone notch hot spot diminished
some, and then I got a congestion zone two inches
below my belly button, and that went away, and then
a bit of solar plexus aching, and that went away,
and now I still have very mild upper breastbone
    notch warming/aching at the surface.)
    ------------------------------------
For the last few months now I have often experienced
what I sometimes call a shakti buzz and sometimes
a kundalini buzz and I was wondering if any others out
there have had this experience or if not if there are
descriptions of it in the literature due to past individuals
    who have experienced it.

I believed it started when I would be imagining kissing
a woman high or low and would get a feedback effect
similar to a fairly good orgasm but mostly just a brain
buzz. I think after a bit of that I labelled it a
shakti buzz but haven't researched shakti or Shakti
    much yet.

After a bit of that it suddenly stopped working briefly
in early February and I found (or was sort of tricked
into finding) that by thinking of kissing each
woman and thinking of one of my deities at the same
time I would get a shakti buzz, and for me (and maybe
just in my head) that formed what I called shakti
associations between each of my deities and a
different woman. Does this have any parallel in
tantric practices (which I have yet to
research very much but intend to, respectfully)?

More recently at times the buzz has become not
just a brain buzz but will begin with a quick
base chakra area muscle click (so a short
period mulabhandha) and will be a buzz from
base chakra to crown chakra though still
stronger in the brain area, so I now call it
both a shakti buzz and a kundalini buzz (and
the bit about thinking of kissing a woman
still works now even without thinking of a
deity to me at the same time).

I have also extended it to thinking of others
other than women I am attracted to by e.g.
thinking of shaking hands with a man or
a woman I am not interested in romantically
but may be interested in collaborating with,
and can still get the buzz.

It also acts as completion for magical workings
such as link workings and more at times these
days. For example, in simple form, I have
attempted a species balancing of all DNA-based
species, and at the conclusion of said balancing
attempt there was again the short period mulabhanda
with the base chakra to crown chakra buzz but
a bit stronger near the crown. [[Perhaps said
balancing will come into effect in this waxing
moon maybe beginning by waxing horn of bull and
blossoming by full moon, or perhaps local
mystics can access my framework and build on it
if e.g. they have what I theoretically call
species someone negotiation ability, where a
species someone is like a collective consciousness
of a species but also in my theory contains bodies,
    even any dead bodies or parts containing DNA;
but if you don't like that theory use your own
nearest match theory to access my balancing framework
and/or to attempt your own balancing, perhaps to
shift supermarket humans to more vegetarianism, e.g. .]]

But regardless of my theories, I am interested
in pointers to more information from tantric
practices, kundalini, qigong, reiki, or other
areas you may know of, related to the buzz.
And I don't view it as harmful unless I overdo
it and neglect my breathing or rooting when it can
    make me mildly wobbly.

    especially the Salmon... subpage.

(I think this is relevant to alt.meditation as well as
the other three groups since centred creative visualizations
such as my species balancing attempt do count as a rooted
dynamic form of meditation in my view, but of course such
visualizations may produce just subtle effects and certainly
good writing and good actions are also required, and indeed
it could be the only effect of such visualizations is on
the meditator, leading to later good writing and good actions
    perhaps.)
