I'm thinking of joining a Masters team and was wondering if anyone could give me recommendations
of Masters teams in the San Francisco (California, (USA)) Bay Area. I live in San Francisco and
work in Palo Alto so anywhere between the two would be interesting. I'm quite new to this swimming
lark so am primarily interested in clubs that cater to a range of skill levels and offer some good
solid coaching.

Err, yeah, I did that already. What I asked for was *recommendations* rather than just a list of
what clubs exist.

No one knows what is a good fit for YOU. Your best bet is to stop by and try them out. Most all of
the clubs welcome swimmers for tryouts before paying the monthly fees.

All of the clubs in the west bay area have good coaches. You should swim with each club for a week
or so. Find out what you like about the coaches and their workouts. Sometimes which club you may
swim with will depend upon your schedule and when you can swim.
I hope you find a good club to swim with.
