  1. Does anyone know of service instructions on the web? I disassembled
    them as far as I dared and flushed what I could see with WD-40, but
    they're a lot more complex than the old 6-speed ones I used to whip
    apart in 5 minutes.

    The indexed (RH) shifter isn't as positive as it used to be and shifting
    is suffering badly. It's a new rear mech and new Shimano cabling, so
    the sticky shifter must be to blame. I really need to get it apart
    properly.
