  1. I recently went to the gynochologist for very bad cramps, missed
period, bleeding from rectum when going to the restroom (in stools)
and he checked everything no diseases and not pregnant he couldnt
figure what the problem was so he told me to go to a gastrointestonal
specialist because it may be it was something probably in my stomach
and he couldnt see that far. That they could do testing like a
ultrasound, catscan, or a t-scan any testing to see whats going on or
up there where he cant see. He gave me pills to regualate my period.
The next day i went to the doctor to see if he could see what the
problem was and he to me to report to the emergency room it may be
something serious. He said it may be many possibilites. That the
hospital could do the testing. I went to two hospitals they did the
same exams as well reported that i was healthy and not pregnat. They
never did the testing. They couldnt do anything for me either so they
told me to report to the gastrointestional doctor. He did the exam
like others and he said that it may be food poisoning or an ulcer. But
said the test was not needed and never proceded to do so because of
the exam that nothing was wrong. He said he was 90% sure it was food
poisoning and that because i was african american (black) that it was
most likely not to occur that cocassions (white) and jewish were most
likely to have it. He gave me medicine for it to try to cure in 5 days
if it was not working to come back. I dont know whats wrong but if
anyone else is experiencing these problems or could tell me the what
the problem is i would appretiate the help! He may be right he may be
wrong but i looked all over with the same symptoms and no one else
seems to know. Why couldnt they just have done the test? Info: 18,

2003, pain 3 weeks, bleeding 4 weeks New Symptoms: not as
bad pain, not as much bleeding, pain seems to shift from
different spots in the stomach area up, right side and below
Additional: it would seem as if something is being blocked,
the bleeding in toilet looks like mucus and blood like from
a period mixed in with soft stools. Thanks so much!

  2. serious or not it sure does sound like a case of hemorrhoids
maybe with a mild case of gastritis. ask your doctor first,
but maybe try some mylanta. You can always make an
appointment with a different gastroenterologist as well to
do some more tests . Irregular menses can be caused for a
number of reasons, but if you've been examined and
everything checks out ok, it isn't all that unusual to have
irregular periods once in awhile. If you're taking birth
control pills that could even be the culprit.
