  1. As I posted before I'm 67 and retired. Gave up the work car and got a bike.Fifty years since I really rode. I use it mainly if the wife is using the car and I need a quick run to the store but also for a little recreation. However, I realized here in the burbs of Fla it's no fun riding certain times.Mainly a.m. and p.m. school/work rush hours. Everybody is in a hurry. I'm not and don't need the stress. So I found the best niche when the sidewalks/streets are mine. It's great. A nice leisurely ride thru the neighborhood. Breathe in that fresh air. Wave to the guy watering his plants. No cars/pedestrians to compete with for the most part. Pass another biker every now and then Really puts me in a nice place.Serenity if you will. Anyone else ride for the serenity of it?

  2. One main reason I really enjoy getting out very early AM, between 3:30 and 5:00 to be on the road. Quiet, before the rush hour traffic starts.

  3. 3:30 and 5:00!!! Have you heard of sleep walking? I would be sleep biking that early. LOL
