Finished 10th in the Road Race and 14th in the Contre le Montre (I like
the French term, don't you?). She obviously still belongs riding with
the elite women bicyclists on this planet. Maybe she is past winning
the big ones, but she beat Nicole Cooke in one event by about as many
places as Nicole beat her in the other, at approximately twice Nicole's age.

I didn't realize it until I looked at her Web site, but she has a
distinguished skiing record as well as the world's most impressive
    cycling resume.

And, she is an honorary citizen of Texas!

  3. introduce me to your great grandmother.
