  1. I have measured my sit bones and they come out at 125mm when in a relaxed position and 115mm when down on the drops.
I am looking for a new saddle as I am experiencing discomfort in the perineum region and have been looking at the SMP Pro and the SMP Avant.
The Pro is 148mm wide and the Avant is 154mm wide. According to everything I have read I should add 20mm to my sit bone width to come up with a saddle width.
That would indicate that the Pro would be the correct choice. Does anyone have any advice please?

    Colin
