  1. a thorn tube plus sealer came into sight after reading a recent post on
    HD touring tires. I use a thorn proof 700 as a spare tube. Quality is
    very good-the cost's $8 and the tube feels like $8

    add the thorn proof with sealer to the conti tt-a tight fit- but the
    700 I use goes on a 27" rim with liner and shimano deore hub/25
    bearings/cycle bearing grease/14 dt spokes/cr-18 rim-will hd tour for
    1500-2000 miles before service
