  1. Greetings fellow gout sufferers. I am a writer who has been hired to
put together an ebook about gout and its remedies, be they
naturopathic, alternative, from Eastern or Western medicine, or from
some other tradition. I am seeking people who have found ways, be they
medical, nutritional, spiritual or some combination of these factors,
to deal with this chronic condition. I am interested in hearing or
reading testimonies about how people have effectively dealt with gout,
and I would like to interview anyone willing to share their
experience. I am also interested in speaking with physicians or other
professionals about how they have successfully helped gout sufferers
deal with the condition to the point that they are functional most of
    the time without experiencing attacks.

Please email me at [email hidden], and we can establish contact.
Or just send me a note, even if you don't want to be interviewed.

Please be assured that all information received will be kept
    confidential.

    Thank you in advance.

Here is some information and posts from the past on Gout.

This link has an excellent explanation of gout.

There are over 170 forms of arthritis so there are a number of different
causes. Inflammatory Arthritis is caused by the immune system attacking
    joints
and connective tissue. It is an immune system disorder. Osteo
    arthritis is
wear and tear or damage in the joints. Glucosamine helps to re-build
    cartilage
and is often effective in osteo arthritis. I don't know if it is
    implicated in
    a gout attack. -- MZ
