  1. Let me start off by saying a little about myself since it could matter for your advice. I'm 32 years old, visually impaired, and currently a heavy person. Basically, what eyesight I have is good with glasses, but I don't see much at one time (tunnel vision). The road I live on is not busy, though. I walk it daily (working to loose weight). I have always been heavy since I was 10 years old when I was in a (ironically) bicycle accident (hit by a car). I have not owned a cycle since then. So, I was hoping to be able to buy a four wheel bicycle (the safest route for me) and ride it on this same road I currently walk on. Since the road is not busy, I am thinking that would be okay. What do you think would be the best one for someone like me? I'm 5'5" or 5'6" and about 210lbs...so, you can imagine I'm still big (I have made good progress so far). I was thinking the Rhoades Car SportPed. My main concern is that I have short legs for my height, and I think I read somewhere it is for people that are 5'6" or more, and I assume that is normal leg length too. So, it could possibly not work out. I hate to be sharing so much (ha), but I figured the only way I can get really good advice is to do so. What are your thoughts? Thank you very much in advance.

PS - even though this is a hybrid, I probably won't be using the motorized unit since it is likely best that I don't go too fast.

  2. First off, before anyone here will be willing to give you any advice, you need to fix your signature so that it doesn't look spammy. I removed it from your last post.

  3. Didn't realize it was spammy. Thought that is what it was there for. In any case, no problem. I have removed it. Thank you.
