Hey all I'm going to buy new wheels and I have a slight dilemma. Previously I used Roval rims with tubulars. Now I have in in sight either Gipiemme T024 (clincers) or then I use my old Roval front wheel and buy a Campagnolo Neutron (tubular) rear wheel. The price of Gipiemme (both) and Camp (rear) is abuot the same. I compete in triathlon and feel safer with tubulares in occasion with flat tires. Do you have any opinions or experiences of these wheels? Or do you have any other suggestions?

I don't trust those 2nd tier manufacturers to keep the market supplied with repair parts. Would not buy a Gipiemme product that used any proprietary parts (eg, spokes, freehub bodies). Same reason as Roval.

Hand built wheels with normal spokes, built to match the rider and purpose. There are almost always bargains to be found on tubular rims.
