  1. Hi,
    I encounter pain at my waist or lower back area during long climbing. Is this due to my seatpost being placed too high or my stem is too long.?

  2. It could actually be the gearming you are in. If it is only during long climbs it sounds like you may be opushing too big a gear. I know I have had this same problem, and shifting to one easier gear on climbs has made a huge difference (pain wise). It takes a little to get used to spinning your legs faster (to maintain the same speed), but once you do you should see a difference.

    If not then yes your bike set up may be flawed.
