Yes, that is 85gr (listed) and it is NOT made from carbon. I have owned the "Woodman Post EL Road Seatpost" for six months. When it arrived I thought they forgot to put it in the box, it was so light. I immediately put it on the scale and big surprise it weighed in at 97gr, not too bad. I cut a little of the post off and got it down a little more. The good about the post is it's weight and it looks very cool (according to other riders) I have not noticed any more vibration going with aluminum over a carbon seat post. The only negative is that the setup took some time. My saddle kept on moving forward when I was tightening the bolts. With a little help from a friend holding the seat in place, it went smooth. If you are looking for a light seatpost I recommend EL Road Seatpost.

I do not have an Selle saddle so I cannot speak from personal experience. But 3 out of the ten or so guys that i ride with have them, love them and swear by them. The reason I will not get one is because of the weight. My seat is a Fizik at 175grams...The Selle comes in at 260 or more.
They get great reviews all over the net... -
