  1. Is it true that you should only clamp your seat between the measurement markings on the rails?

    I've had my seats in all types of positions over the years: way forward, way back...without any problems

    I can't say 100% for titanium or carbon rails, but I definitely can't see a problem for aluminium rails.

  3. It depends on how heavy you are. Also note that the lighter the saddle is, the more seriously warnings like that should be taken.

    ooops, I meant to say "steel" or "cro-mo" rails
