  1. Saturday, a lady at a yard sale was raving about the virtues of
    seasoning an All-Clad.
Anyone ever heard of seasoning stainless steel?

    Thanks,
    Bubba

Of course... stainless steel cookware used for frying must be properly
    seasoned to prevent sticking.

I have Emerilware, made (and warrantied) by All-Clad, and it performs
like a non-stick frypan. No seasoning; it's not needed. I put it in
the dishwasher, and the next time I use it, it performs perfectly with
no scrubbing. I've never heard of anyone seasoning a stainless steel
    pan.

    Cast-iron needs seasoning.

    I bet Sheldon does it.
