  1. i just bought a replacement rim for my old huffy. it's a sun 27" by 1 1/4" alloy double wall silver rim with sealed bearings. does this mean these bearings have grease sealed in requiring no maintenance for the life of the bearings? my old hubs had to be re-greased periodically...

  2. That is correct. The are maintance free. No way to even greas them.

BS...you need to learn the difference between sealed and cartridge bearing. A 27" wheel for a Huffy isn't going to be catridge bearing. It's a cup and ball with a minimal shield for a seal and need alot of attention to maintenance.
