The external thread of a Schrader valve is a [censored] size; in inches, it's .305-32 (0.305" diameter,
32tpi.) You can get a thread chaser for that size at just about any auto parts store, in the tire
repair section. As for a real thread cutting die, forget it. Your local specialty machine tools
dealer *might* know where to get one, but it's going to be costly as all hell.

The internal thread's size is something I don't have written down. I can't recall ever having the
need to know what it was, now that I think about it. As for the external threads, though, a thread
chaser is commonly available at auto parts stores.

If the pressure required for your forks is not excessive, there are clamp-on inflation valves that
might get a grip despite the lack of threads. Otherwise, it's probably time to order a replacement
valve assembly.
