  1. Is there any sort of explanation for why scratches would appear on
one's arm out of nowhere? This used to happen to me periodically, and
it has been happening a lot today.

    Thanks.

I injure myself sometimes when I'm too busy to worry about it, then
forget exactly how and when. ;-) I just clean the injuries and carry
    on...

    Do you have a cat?
Have you been doing yard work?

  3. No, they just sort of spontaneously started appearing while I was using
the computer. I went to the restroom and put soap and water on them,
and that seemed to stop it.

    Hmmmm...
    Scratches do not appear spontaneously.

Unless you have a poltergeist. ;-)

You may have a habit of scratching your arms without paying attention.

File your nails (or cut them all off short) and see if that helps?
