Well, don't know much about that particular model, but have no fear re: Scott road bikes. Currently their CR1 (admittedly top of the line) is considered one of the very best, if not the best, carbon fiber frame on the market...

Scott Bikes are great. I've got an alloy AFD Pro with C1R forks and Ultegra. It's very good. They stick by their product and sorted out a lazy local distributor here when the Ritchey hubs on the thing turned out to be poorly built although of good design. I emailed the Scott HQ in Switzerland re the problem and it wasn't long before the local suppliers were ringing me with a full appology and the ofer of new parts. Let's face it we are only talking about frames and maybe forks when we look and different makes of bike anyway and I found the AFD Pro to be a very able package. Can't say anything about the one you are considering but the current crop of carbon frames they are putting out (C1R, same generation as the forks on my thing)are getting excelent reviews. One of the Pro Tour teams, Saunier Duval Prodir are riding them this year and the Jean Delatour team rode the AFD Pro in 2003.
