  1. I've just purchased a Schwinn World Sport on Ebay. On the head badge it has
    the numerals "1357" stamped. Is this the date of manufacture? If so, can
    someone interpret it for me? Many thanks.

  2. That's the date and month of manufacture. Keep searching. Those
    numerals are the key.

    Somewhere on the Net (I believe it was the Heritage forums on
    Schwinn.com) is a cipher for decoding that number.

    information for Schwinn and some other bicycle manufacturers.
