  1. My Schmidt E6-Z has stopped working. It must still be passing current
    as the other light still operates.

    Does anyone know where they can be repaired or even if they come apart
    so the can be fixed?

    Common fault is that the small contact spring contacting the base of the
    bulb is bent sideways shortcircuiting against the bulb retaining spring.
    Bend it back with a nail or something.

    And make sure some joker hasn't fitted the switch clip the wrong way round

    If that doesn't work , the nice folks down at Wilfried Schmidt
    Machinenbau will sort it out
