In the market for some new boots and these seem to have found the way to the
top of my list to try out. I know a few people on here swear by their SL's,
but does anyone have anything, good, bad or indifferent, to say about the
Super Treks? Any other contenders in this range that you want to shout or
swear about?
Must haves for me are:
1. Gore-tex liner - I don't have sweaty feet and GT works for me, whereas
wet feet most definitely do not.
2. Fabric Uppers - Again, experience has taught me that leather, even when
well broken in, is just too stiff for me.
3. Lightweight - Not too clompy, but without compromising support.
4. Occasional crampon use.
I notice the La Sportiva Trango S Evo getting quite a bit of press recently
and they are very lightweight, GT, Fabric and B2. Only drawback seems to be
the choice of colours, Red or Electric Blue!
