i went up via lingmell-lingmell col-scafell pike-lingmell col-piers
gill -wasdale head.
it was one of those perfect days, hardly a cloud in the sky & quite hot.

lunch. That side of the summit was out of the wind which I found a bit
too strong for comfort at times. Still a glorious day and weatherwise I
have not had many better.--
