Have been doing research and tonnes and tonnes of reading regarding building my own carbon monocoque frame as outlined by Damon Rhind. Finally I pretty much know what steps there are to take but wanna make sure before I proceed.
First off:
1) How do you install bottlecage bosses? Drill and install with epoxy? Leave hole and wrap fibre around while reinforcing the area around the hole?
2) Do you actually use a metal brake boss and wrap carbon fibre around it? Or do you just drill a hole?
All advice from people who have tried are welcome.
