I am still no nearer to having the funds for a recumbent, but just wondering
if anybody has any experience of Bike Friday's SatRday? It is currently out
of production, but a revised version is due out soon. The idea of a foldable
recumbent appeals, if it works well.

Thanks for the reply. I have just emailed the manufacturer of the
Fastforward for more details.

Only had a brief spin on one, but found the frame more than somewhat
lacking in stiffness. A Brompton with the main clamp undone feels more
secure (been there, done that!).
A Fastforward (http://www.fastfwd.nl/eng/index.php) rides MUCH better,
is not too expensive (for a recumbent), and can be made small enough
for most tours/holidays , if not for day-to-day commuting perhaps.Mark van Gorkom.
