Sat Nav systems for walking

This 'panel' has the latter (RA Navigator 7000) with one 2GB SD card and
one 1 GB SD card which together hold the Memory Map 1:50000 OS maps of
the whole of Britain.

Having used it just a few times I'm rather pleased with it. I tried it on
a local footpath which goes through a wood and it followed the path on the
map accurately even under the trees.

I did try it when I was walking in Derbyshire recently and, as one might
suspect, it doesn't get a signal when down in the dales but it's OK on the
high ground but, again, when it can get a signal it seems to be pretty
accurate.

Coupled with the fact that it's in-car navigation seems pretty good too
I'm pleased with it thus far.
