I'm planning a bike trip from Santander (Spain) to Roscoff (France) in September. I'd like to hear
from anyone who has any experience of the spanish part of this, in particular the climb over the
large hills dividing the two countries..

I did the from Bilbao via the coast to San Sebastian and into France about 12 years ago. Very
scenic. Gernika and these places are well worth seeing. San Sebastian is gorgeous but very
expensive. If you stick to the green marked roads on the Michelin maps you'll do fine.
